I have received my  schooling in Germany. Early on my teachers looked over my portfolio of both pencil and charcoal sketches. I was counseled to plan on a career in fashion design. Instead I opted for interior architecture, but finally ended up devoting my life to ministry. Art, however became my avocation.

On every occasion I shopped for art materials, I read articles in major art magazines and attended  outstanding workshops in both oil and water color painting and enrolled in portrait painting at the Corcoran School of Art. I have appreciated every single instruction by Master painters, but I have also discovered that there is no success without ones personal effort. Painting tests ones endurance and skills.

With the right approach to painting I have held some very successful exhibitions in Montreal, Canada. My paintings were exhibited in Place-Ville-Marie This is a place where thousands of visitors and especially tourists from around the world browsed through day by day. My paintings went to many countries in the world.

But my success in painting was possible only because of my wife’s extraordinary support.

My wife Minodora  never complained about paint stained shirts or pants, because she is a passionate painter herself. She is a professional accountant who performs any assignment with strict discipline and accuracy. We shared knowledge the and results of our own experiments. We did a lot  of them. We painted with knives, a variety of brushes and different painting grounds.

Minodora’s persistence in painting enabled her to turn out some very fine portraits of children and of her own immediate family. She is not ready to quit painting. On the contrary, her creative spirit will not let her rest until her biological clock will stop.
